CRC Honored with “Corporate Citizen of the Year” Award
On January 24th, California Resources Corporation (CRC) was presented with the “Corporate Citizen of the Year” Award by the Shafter Chamber of Commerce at their 71st Annual Awards Banquet and State of the City Address.
The Corporate Citizen of the Year Award recognizes companies for outstanding contributions that demonstrate strong values in promoting corporate social responsibility. CRC was the first corporation to receive this distinguished award.
Shawn Kerns, CRC’s Executive Vice President, Operations and Engineering, accepted the award on CRC’s behalf declaring the wonderful privilege it is to be a part of the Shafter community. He also thanked the many amazing CRC employees who contribute their time and resources to the City of Shafter and its deserving community organizations.
CRC looks forward to continuing to serve as an active and supportive partner with the City of Shafter through ongoing partnerships and volunteerism aimed at making a difference in the lives of the community’s residents.
